How will you ship my order?
UK orders are sent via either Royal Mail Tracked 24 or APC Overnight depending on the size of your order. Both methods are fully tracked and updates will be automatically sent to you via either text message or email
We choose Royal Mail for ethical + environmental reasons (the majority of workers are unionised and RM has the lowest average carbon footprint for parcel delivery out of all carriers in the UK) however larger, heavier orders will be sent via APC Overnight.
For certain local orders we will fulfil via in-house cargo bike or via same day motorcycle courier. We will always contact you to make sure that you’re able to receive an order before dispatching via this method.
How long does my order take to ship?
We pack and ship all orders in-house + try our absolute hardest to dispatch all orders within one business day of receiving. In the unlikely event that dispatch will take longer than this, we will contact you personally via e-mail.
Please note that we are an extremely small team and during busy periods there may be a delay in dispatching your order. If you require an item urgently, or on or after a certain date or want to upgrade to a certain shipping option, please contact us via hello@montamonta.com to arrange.
How long does my order take to arrive?
Royal Mail 24 has a delivery time of 1-2 days and APC Overnight has a 24 hour delivery time.
Please note that there may be unavoidable delays within both the Royal Mail + APC Networks. If you require your order by a certain date please let us know and we can do our best to achieve this. Unfortunately we cannot be held responsible for delays in transit.
I live locally, can I collect my order in person?
Of course! please select ‘collect from laboratory’ as shipping option and reply to your order confirmation e-mail to arrange a collection day/time.
This order is a gift!
Thank you for sharing our products! We don’t send out our online orders with a packing note/pricing details as each customer already receives this electronically (it seems like a real waste of paper) but we’d be delighted to include a complimentary hand written note. For this option please “reply” to your order confirmation with the message that you’d like to include.
Unfortunately the protective packaging that we use for shipping out orders doesn’t allow us to gift wrap.
Do you offer international shipping?
Long story short, not any more.
Post-pandemic and post-Brexit it’s unfeasibly expensive, the paperwork is now extensive, and too many parcels have gone missing in transit/waiting indefinitely to clear customs to justify it.
We used to offer international shipping via UPS or Royal Mail International at a flat fee of £15 which meant that in a lot of cases we absorbed the extra shipping cost. Unfortunately shipping costs often now equate to more than the actual order value so we can no longer absorb the extra shipping cost.
Moreover, we have environmental anxiety about shipping (heavy) glass bottles across the world.
If you are absolutely desperate to have us ship something internationally and are willing to run the gauntlet of unpredictable import taxes, delays and customs issues then please e-mail via hello@montamonta.com for a quote.
Can I cancel or amend my order?
Please e-mail us via hello@montamonta.com if you wish to cancel or amend your order. Although we cannot guarantee this, we will happily do our best for any orders that have not already been processed/dispatched
What is your return policy?
We really do hope that you will be delighted with your product however:
If an item has been damaged in transit, we will happily provide you with an exchange. please contact us via hello@montamonta.com.
For UK orders, under certain circumstances, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt of goods. You will be responsible for return shipping costs and we recommend that you send via a trackable method. Please contact us at hello@montamonta.com for assistance with returns.
All refunds will be processed via the original payment method only.
